Wound Home Skills Kit: Venous Leg Ulcers and Lymphedema
The Surgical Patient Education Venous Ulcer and Lymphedema Home Skills Kit provides patients and caretakers with comprehensive, interactive materials to enable identification, optimal care, and healing of a venous foot ulcer or lymphedema. Each skills kit contains an instruction booklet with images, links to video instruction to support each skill section, a self-assessment checklist, a discharge checklist, references for additional support, and an evaluation. The Venous Ulcer and Lymphedema Home Skills Kit was developed by a multidisciplinary team of the American College of Surgeons Division of Education and has been funded in part by grants from Ethicon, Smith and Nephew, and Acelity.
