Surgical Wound Home Skills Kit provides patients and caretakers with comprehensive interactive materials to enable optimal care and recovery of a postsurgical wound after discharge. Each skills kit contains an instruction booklet with images, links to video instruction to supports each skill section, a self-assessment checklist, references for additional support, and an evaluation. The Surgical Wound Skills Kit was developed by a multidisciplinary team of the American College of Surgeons Division of Education and has been funded in part by grants from Ethicon, Smith and Nephew and Acelity.
