Instructions

The overall goal of the ACS efforts in Inclusive Excellence is to provide members with the education, skills, and resources necessary to develop safe and inclusive learning and clinical environments for all in the workforce to the ultimate benefit of our surgical patients. 

This entry in the LMS allows registrants of the virtual session for the Inclusive Excellence Certificate Course to claim CME credit for this session.

About this course

Learning Objectives

This didactic course will educate using two major pathways:  Group 1 (Trainees/Faculty) - Increase one’s individual capacity to contribute to environmental safety and implementing equitable practices in their immediate work environment and Group 2 (ACS Chapters IE Leads, Academics, Vice-Chairs) - Increase the capacity of leaders to implement equitable practices at their organization or program levels and the course will have keynote speakers as well as breakouts in the attendees' chosen pathway group.

Target Audience

Registrants for the Inclusive Excellence Certificate course, starting with attendees of the in-person session which occurred during Clinical Congress 2025.
