Feeding Tube Home Skills Kit
The Surgical Patient Education Feeding Tube Home Skills Kit is a
simulation-based, multimedia program that supports self-paced learning and safe
self-management following discharge. Each skill kit contains practice equipment,
a DVD with skill demonstration, an instruction booklet with images, discharge
guidelines, references for additional support, and a step-by-step checklist to
guide performance and evaluation of skill acquisition. The Feeding Tube Home
Skills Kit was developed with multi-association consensus and is funded in part
by a grant from Applied Medical Technology, Inc.
