Learning Objectives

Objetivos de aprendizaje:
Describir los cuidados diarios necesarios para una colostomía/ileostomía.

Mencionar el equipo básico que se utiliza para el cuidado de la ostomía.

Describir los pasos para el cuidado de la ostomía en el hogar, incluyendo: cómo vaciar y cambiar una bolsa, cómo medir/cortar/aplicar una bolsa y habilidades básicas de resolución de problemas.


Identificar y manejer los problemas comunes de ostomía, que incluyen: piel irritada y enrojecida, barrera que no se adhiere, deshidratación, estoma inactivo, sangrado del estoma, prolapso del estoma y retracción del estoma.

Describir cómo manejar las actividades cotidianas, como bañarse, hacer ejercicio y viajar.
