Community-Based Comprehensive Wound Care Course
Friday, June 5, 2026 | 1:00–5:15 pm | Boston, MA
Wound care is a global public health challenge due to
multiple social and systemic factors. Rural communities are especially hard hit,
as rural Americans suffer from higher rates of diabetes, tobacco use,
malnutrition, and obesity while having limited access to wound care specialists.
This interactive, hands-on course is designed for practicing surgeons, trainees,
and other healthcare professionals seeking to enhance their knowledge and skills
in managing a wide range of wound types. Led by experienced surgeons, this
course, developed in a transdisciplinary fashion, will offer a unique blend of
theoretical knowledge and practical experience, empowering you to deliver
exceptional wound care to your patients. Two weeks prior to the course,
participants will have access to recorded didactic lectures addressing current
recommendations and evolving practices in the evaluation and management of a
wide range of wound types.
