Advanced Surgical Skills for Exposure in Trauma (ASSET) 2nd Edition Manual
Advanced Surgical Skills for Exposure in Trauma
(ASSET) uses human cadavers to teach surgical exposure of anatomic structures
that when injured may pose a threat to life or limb. The one- and two-day ASSET
courses cover surgical exposures in the neck, chest, abdomen, pelvis, and upper
and lower extremities. The expanded and revised ASSET course manual provides all
of the content for both the one- and two -day ASSET course, covering additional
topics such as amputations, and damage control neurosurgery and orthopedics.
Students enrolled in either one- or two-day ASSET courses will receive a copy of
the richly illustrated course manual as part of attending the course.
